ABOUT US
Sparc is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, founded in 1951 by a group of parents of children with cognitive disabilities. Sparc's mission is to enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enabling them to successfully live, learn, work and socialize in the community.

Sparc fulfills its mission through programs attuned to the unique potential of each individual and designed to build self confidence and independence. Support services are provided to approximately 500 individuals through one or more of the following programs: 24 hour residential support; developmental training; supported living; respite care; supported employment; competitive employment; janitorial training (Sparcling Clean) and Kamp Kaleidoscope.

Today, Sparc is an established 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and operates 14 Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs), or group homes, offers 24-hour Residential Support, Respite programs to relieve families, Job Placement and dozens of other programs attuned to the unique potential of each individual. Each program is designed to build self-confidence and independence.
